Space Falcon: Major Accomplishments, Future Plans and the Importance of Top-Quality Content.
January 2023 Update
We hope all of you had an amazing holiday with your loved ones and a great entry to 2023. Our team is excited to share the latest update on the development progress. To those who have yet to become familiar, this year Space Falcon aims to successfully develop a mobile game for Android and iOS devices and contribute to the onboarding of Web2 players to Web3 along with building a big gaming community. The past month has been a busy and productive time for the team, as we have made significant progress toward meeting the closest development objectives. In this update, we’ll highlight the accomplishments we have done and our plans for the upcoming months.
As most of you know, game development is not an easy process that requires a vast amount of experience, dedication, creativity, capital and most importantly, teamwork. Last year was full of experimentation that led us to the right way of mainly focusing and improving on the aspects written above. Thanks to our good fund management, we are able to further expand our team to better the quality of the whole development process, create original content and give you guys consistent monthly updates.
A Look at Our Accomplishments
Speaking about accomplishments, the user interface is what we believe makes the games stand out. For that reason, UI draft has been made for the main in-game lobby, spaceship, character, map, game mode selection and invite to party/friends section.
Another important point to consider is the game mechanics. Features such as moving, hovering, rotating, boosting, aiming and shooting have been finalized and tested on the draft surface which turned out to be functioning well. Moreover, we started with the first map design which will include a desert environment with beautifully designed Unity assets for the players to fly around and explore along with 2 bases for different teams to spawn. Here you can see the visual progress of graphics and mechanics we’ve made over 2 months:
Before
After
Not to mention, one of the hardest part which is the game’s economic model is being currently worked on and will include the rewards and xp system, utilities such as battle pass, upgrades, items store and other incentives that appeal the most to players. At last, we’ve held a successful Christmas campaign with 18 other Web3 startups and the New Year’s giveaway which brought a considerable amount of attention to Space Falcon in terms of new investors and community members.
The Power of Quality Content: Why it Matters?
What concerns the consistency and quality of content, we are aware that most of you seek daily updates regarding the game, news about partnerships, sneak peeks and giveaways. However, we must inform you that in order to have those things, it usually takes time, good decision making and efforts if we want to show ourselves as an exceptional and unique gaming company.
Like Marcus Sheridan once said ,,Great content is the best sales tool in the world” and we want to make sure that over the next months and years, we have this tool to utilize for Space Falcon.
Because of the big bubble in crypto industry, 2021 and 2022 was the perfect example of different derivatives, projects and even companies with a strong foundation that got shut down for not being composed, authentic, transparent and experienced enough as well as rushing things for the sake of the community’s pressure and impatience. Since we don’t want the same fate for Space Falcon, we will continue to give comprehensive updates and post quality content accordingly.
What’s next?
Finally, let’s discuss our plans for the upcoming months and what to expect. Although nothing is made 100% yet, we are halfway there, so the first objective would be making and finishing spaceship models which usually takes a week to make one. After that, the team of 3D artists will be transitioning to the characters.
We will continue working on the user interface for all of the sections, designing the map and writing an extensive economic model. For tracking game data we will be integrating the Firebase system soon as well. Once these objectives are met, we will be focusing on sound design and multiplayer servers which are the major goals for the upcoming three months. Furthermore, we plan to have a Wiki page for our game where all of the important information about heroes, spaceships and weapons will be contained.
Other than game development, we will be seeking more partnerships with other potential startups and the big players in the industry. As most of you know, talks about switching the blockchain are official and it’s relevant for us more than ever. For that reason, we will continue to analyze, consult and discuss the best onboarding options for Space Falcon. To avoid the rumors, more clarity regarding the specific chains we are addressing and are willing to make a deal with will be published in the near future.
Also, expect some game sneak peeks and giveaways on Space Falcon’s Twitter page, Telegram and Discord groups. We will always continue to cheer up the community even in the most ,,boring” building phase.
In conclusion, we are happy with the progress that has been achieved so far. We can confidently say that our team has effectively accomplished numerous essential tasks and built the foundation for the future success of Space Falcon. While there are still many challenges waiting along the road, we are prepared to work hard in order to overcome them and be well-positioned to continue forward. Space Falcon would like to thank all of our partners, investors and community of supporters, for their trust and devotion to this project. As never before, we are excited to continue making progress and reaching our objectives in 2023.
