Welcome to our latest monthly recap where we’ll cover the most important things we have achieved in April. Over the past month, our team has made significant strides towards meeting the project's objectives, resulting in a series of noteworthy accomplishments. We have not only met but exceeded our targets in various aspects of the project, including the Mantle blockchain integration deal, game development, design, multiplayer testing, and implementation of other key parts.
In this article, we will discuss the details of our monthly progress and highlight the achievements, which have brought us closer to the successful completion of the game and the steadier growth of the Space Falcon.
Operation “The final spaceship” is completed!
This month has been the final one for our spaceship development and we are excited to add the 5th one to the collection - Vortex. It has already been deployed in the game and tested multiple times. The flying and shooting with this spacecraft will be as smooth as it is with others but controlling it will have a slightly different and unique feeling which we wanted to bring to the players.
Overall, every spaceship is different and has its pros and cons which will be good for various types of gamers. We know that if one thing is good for the player, it doesn’t mean it will be good and fitting for the other.

Weapons
Speaking about the weapons, we have finalized 2 so far each having a different damage ratio, shooting speed, ammo and unique shooting effects. The goal would be to make at least 5 of them, so there is the same number of spaceships and weapons until the launch of the game.
The awesome part is that we’ve made the option for the players to equip even 2 different weapons on their selected spaceship instead of having 1 set. We think this is a cool feature to highlight and it will definitely help to spice things up on the battlefield.
Blast N' Blazin
Frost Splinter
Moreover, the development of shooting effects is what the team of developers and designers focuses on the most. We think it’s very important to make the shooting look good as it will affect the whole gameplay experience, so crazy shooting effects mean great fun! Here is a comparison of improvement and some blasting footage:
Multiplayer Server Testing
What concerns the functionality of the multiplayer servers, it was one of the hardest things to tackle and make it operate properly in the past months as it’s crucial to have real-time player screen feedback in fast-paced games like ours. The development team made sure that multiplayer servers are ready to be tested out before the private game testing which we plan to have in May.
On top of that, we’ve arranged a participant selection for the private game testing and we were really surprised by the number of people who wanted to try out the game for the first time. However, there were only 10 winners selected as we wanted to make it more special and not attract a big wave of attention yet.
For those who weren’t selected, there is no need to worry because you will be able to take part in the Beta testing which is gonna happen in approximately 2 months. Make sure to stay tuned because you surely don’t want to miss this!
In addition, since the game pieces started to come together, this month the team continued to improve the user interface and combine the design, style and colors to make them complement each other and be attractive to the player.
We are aware that the whole gameplay time spent won’t be concluded only from the online matches but spaceship and weapon customization, match creation and selection, settings and store. That’s why it’s crucial to have a good user experience on all sides of the game.
Partnership with Mantle
Recently we had a major announcement that Space Falcon will be one of the early adopters of Mantle, a high-performance Ethereum layer-2 network built with modular architecture delivering low fees and high security.
Having this partnership helps us to position Space Falcon well for the future, get support from the team of blockchain professionals and only proves our commitment to building great products and even a greater community.
